On Friday 10/19/2012, Arts & Humanities Librarian Andrew Lopez presented "Finding Art Images in Periodicals and Elsewhere" as part of the faculty and staff development LINK lecture series.

The ARTstor interface

A number of exciting conversations were started between faculty about ways in which they use art and art images in their classrooms. Instances of students needing art images were reviewed, and it was also mentioned that the library maintains a large collection of art books, which are also an excellent source for art images and ideas.

Please stay tuned next semester for a follow-up presentation that will focus exclusively on organizing and exporting special image collections with ARTstor.
